bingo lays her gift on the altar
Thursday, October 29, 2009, 08:29 AM

When I lifted my camera to my face in this random, middle of nowhere chapel in West Texas, I half-noticed my dog wander into the frame and simply thought, "Oh good, Bingo will be in the shot." Little did I know that she was laying a warm, brown gift before the lord. (selective highlight added for your viewing pleasure)
Don't worry, we cleaned it up.

This is a screen shot of my suggested basic layout for a recent story on chickens competing in the state fair. My personal favorite is Kellie Bird, top right. She was spent. It's tough to be a model, you know.

Air is the generosity of fog.
With fog, there is generosity on earth.

--a mere two lines from the poem "The Traveling Onion"
a translation by Erin Moure
from Poets Against the War
(my apologies for the severely out-of-context gleaning)

just when you thought it was safe to sit in a pew again . . .

Tony, pipe and Garreth on roof. Circa last night.

On quite a lighter note than the prior post, I'm shooting C21 this weekend in Minneapolis. Great coffee, black raspberry mojitos and leaves that change colors! Happiness CAN be found in Minnesota.
